Celebrated guitarist, the dynamic and amazing James Oliver needs no introduction to Blues fans. He’s played our festival for around 10 years and is a great supporter of this fabulous weekend. Unfortunately, due to a mix up over dates, James, who surely is the 21st century’s hardest working man in showbusiness, was already booked for our weekend.
Undaunted, we created a unique fringe event for the Thursday night when James will be playing a rare solo set preceded by a Q&A with broadcaster & journalist BB Skone who has described James as “the Tommy Cooper of the Telecaster”. It should be fun!
“James Oliver is the real deal, a passionate roots rocker loaded with guitar firepower.” Bill Kirchen (who headlines alongside Geraint Watkins on the Friday night).
Gig profits will be donated to local PATCH Charity.
