Eugene French

Eugene first met the Blues when his eldest brother brought home reel to reel tape recordings of Muddy, Wolf etc. Music from another planet it seemed and it sent him on his quest. The first Bluesmen he met was in 1970 when he and his friends shared fish and chips in the back of a bus with Willie Dixon, Bukka White, Sonny and Brownie and the rest of the Blues Tour.

Eugene has DJed for many years and promises to spin a heady Gumbo stew of Rockin' RnB, Blisterin' Blues and Searin' Soul throughout the weekend.
