This five-piece from the Cardigan area of West Wales have been performing regularly throughout Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire for the last two years and have often impressed audiences with their informal mixture of accessible jazz/blues/rock oldies and standards. The strong voice of front man and bandleader Simmons provides the band with a focal point, while the main soloists, Taylor-Wood and Welsh, are given plenty of room to display their improvisation skills. The Astralites are enjoyable to listen to and good to dance to. Come along and dance or just come along.
